The Sisterhood of Adath Shalom is a group of vibrant, active women of all ages who play an integral part in Synagogue life. We are dedicated to preserving Conservative Judaism by providing cultural and social activities, educational experiences, fundraising and personal growth for our members, congregation and community. Our Sisterhood members learn, teach, share, cook, socialize, pray and perform good deeds to support each other and our synagogue in ways that give us pride and fulfillment.
Sisterhood is affiliated with the Women’s League of Conservative Judaism, the largest synagogue based women’s organization in the world. As an active arm of the Conservative/Masorti movement, they provide service to hundreds of affiliated women’s groups in synagogues across North America and to thousands of women worldwide. Through our support of WLCJ’s annual Torah Fund campaign, we help ensure the continuing education of conservative rabbis, cantors and educators.
